Arts Entrepreneurship Educator, Arts Administrator, Musician

Dasa Charrier recently joined the faculty at Miami University as Visiting Assistant Professor of Arts Management and Entrepreneurship. Her teaching and research center on preparing artists for sustainable, fulfilling careers through experiential learning. She is particularly interested in equitable approaches to entrepreneurship education and how programs can better support students from diverse economic backgrounds. Before joining Miami University, Dasa served as the Manager of Performances and Scheduling at Texas Tech University’s School of Music, where she worked closely with students in performance production, professional development, and arts administration. In this role, she mentored student workers and helped students secure internships at the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival and employment after graduation with organizations such as the Hawaii Youth Symphony and the Madison Children’s Museum.
